Effective Business Leadership Advancement

Effective Business Leadership Advancement (EBLA) for Women in Rural PEI is a high-level leadership and business education program, designed for women in rural PEI.

The program, which was offered concurrently in both western and eastern PEI, started in September 2019 and ran through November 2019. Over the course of the program, twenty participants from across rural PEI participated in six workshops, designed to support their professional development:

  • Orientation, facilitated by Mary Lou Bassett, EMBA
  • Developing Self-awareness, facilitated by Hayden Woodley, PHD
  • Leadership Communications, facilitated by Margaret Magner, PhD
  • Successful Negotiations, facilitated by Tina Saksida, PhD
  • Transformational Leadership, facilitated by Blake Jelley, PhD, CPHR
  • Women on Boards, facilitated by, Amy McFarlane, MEd, CPA, CA
