Atlantic Canadian Women in Growth Partnership

The Atlantic Canadian Women in Growth Partnership (ACWGP) is a project between four Atlantic women’s business organizations - Nova Scotia Centre for Women in Business (CWB), Prince Edward Island Business Women’s Association (PEIBWA), Women in Business New Brunswick (WBNB), and Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE) as the project lead.

Transitioning Toward Growth Initiative

Transitioning Toward Growth encompasses a suite of three programs funded by the Department of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture through the Canada-PEI labour market agreements to support women in business across Prince Edward Island.

The programs: Accelerate HER PEI, MAPS 2.0 and will develop women’s business skills and confidence using advanced technology, capitalizing on supplier diversity, engaging in research and development and subsequent innovation, increasing productivity and profitability, and exporting.
