Commercial banking focuses on products and services that are specifically designed for businesses. Learn about how you can best utilize your own banking services to build and maintain your company including:

  • Information required to open a business account (Incorporated, Partnership, and Sole Proprietorship)
  • Account Service Charges
  • Separating your business and personal finances
  • What’s needed to apply for a business loan
  • Credit Bureaus (business and personal)

    Join us for this interactive session facilitated by Amanda Murphy, Commercial Loans Officer with Consolidated Credit Union Ltd.

    Amanda Murphy is a Prince Edward Island native and has been working with the credit unions since 1999.  She has over 20 years experience working in the Commercial Banking Department, where she values helping her members succeed.  On top of her extensive experience with commercial banking, Amanda also holds a BBA from the University of Prince Edward Island, as well as a Masters in the Credit Union System, known as an ACUIC, from CUIC and Dalhousie University. Outside of work, Amanda can often be found trying to keep up with one of her two boys with her husband, pursuing her passion for healthy living, or working with charitable organizations.  A true animal fanatic, Amanda and her gorgeous yet goofy golden retriever sidekick, Zeb, is usually stuck at her side.
