Hopeful Authentic Pathways (HAP) is a mobile, non-clinical behavioral health and peer-support practice designed to bridge the gap for men transitioning from institutional settings—such as correctional facilities, psychiatric units, hospitals, and the foster care system—back into the community of Prince Edward Island. HAP operates on a "Healing through Connection" philosophy, providing high-dignity, trauma-informed support directly to the client’s doorstep or local community hubs. By removing traditional clinical barriers and integrating animal-assisted activities, HAP fosters resilience, self-worth, and sustainable reintegration.
