Canada Learning Code is joining us for a special workshop this January as part of their Digital Skills for Entrepreneurship workshop series. Applying E-commerce and Building a Shopify Store will run over two days, January 29-30, 2020, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at our Charlottetown office.

Some the skills to be covered include:

  • Understanding the core components of e-commerce;
  • Completing a product analysis, including considerations such as demand, competitors, and target market;
  • Considering options for sourcing and pricing products;
  • Creating your own Shopify account;
  • Setting up a product photography shoot;
  • Customizing Shopify;
  • Reviewing strategies for manually filling orders, impact of price on products, managing inventory, packaging, and customer communication; and
  • Researching further resources for your business.

Advanced registration is required for this workshop. Canada Learning Code's Code Mobile will provide laptops to participants for the course.

Please note that the workshop is a two-day workshop and the second day will build on the activities completed on the first day.

*Please note that a fee is required to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments. PEIBWA is partially subsidizing the cost for members.
