Conversation Corner is an informal bi-weekly gathering around our kitchen table at the Rural Women's Business Centre. We will focus on a specific topic or theme relating to working women. Whether self-employed, working, in school or determining what your next step will be - everyone is welcome.
On February 14, Susan Rodgers, a local author and filmmaker, will host Conversation Corner. Susan is the author of the Drifters books, a popular 15-book women's fiction series (the main character grew up in Bedeque!). Susan wrote, produced, and directed Still The Water, a feature film shot on P.E.I. in 2019. Her topic will be on perspective - exploring different ways to see the world through writing and photography, and how this translates to enrich your business, career and life.
This is a great opportunity to explore new ideas and perspectives while growing your network. Refreshments provided.
Do you have a business or workplace topic on your mind that you would like to discuss? Do you have a story to share? If you would like to host a session of Conversation Corner at the Rural Women's Business Centre, please connect with Shelley at shelley@peibwa.org.
