Conversation Corner - ONLINE with guest Elizabeth Pederson

Conversation Corner is our informal gathering, typically held at the kitchen table at PEIBWA's Rural Women's Business Centre. We are now taking the conversation online every Friday, and everyone is welcome to join us through the free and easy-to-navigate Zoom Meetings platform!

In the current climate there are many questions, considerations, and anxiety surrounding the maintenance of a positive workplace culture.  Elizabeth Pederson will join us on Friday, April 17 to discuss working remotely and maintaining a healthy culture through the crisis. Best practices will be shared to make remote working situations work for you, your organization, and your goals.  Elizabeth has spent her career helping others. She has been an Adult Educator for over 25 years, both in a formal setting, teaching various post secondary courses, and as a manager guiding staff to success.

Some discussion topics:

• Communication during this crisis. 
• How is the change in routine going for you?
• Have you had a discovery about yourself from this experience, and can you use this discovery in the future to change anything about your work?
• How will you use some of these experiences that you are having now in the future to enhance your work?
• Has your employer/or you been provided with information to protect yourself during this crisis.
• Share best practices among attendees for ways to make remote working situations work for them, their organizations and their goals. 

After you register to attend, you will be provided with a Zoom meeting link to join the session.

Conversation Corner is a FREE program offered by the PEI Business Women's Association (PEIBWA) and both members and non-members are welcome to attend.
