Canada Learning Code's "Code Mobile" will be facilitating this FREE introductory-level workshop that will provide you with the basics about e-commerce and Shopify.

Some of the skills to be covered include:

  • Understanding the core components of e-commerce;
  • Completing a product analysis, including considerations such as demand, competitors, and target market;
  • Considering options for sourcing and pricing products;
  • Creating your own Shopify account;
  • Setting up a product photography shoot;
  • Customizing Shopify;
  • Reviewing strategies for manually filling orders, impact of price on products, managing inventory, packaging, and customer communication; and
  • Researching further resources for your business.

A limited number of seats will be available to participate at the RWBC in Central Bedeque. Note: You are required to bring your own laptop with you if choosing to participate in-person at the Rural Women's Business Centre.

There is no charge for this workshop - for PEIBWA members or non-members, however advanced registration is required. 

This is a three-part  session, registration for individual days is not available and attendance at all three of the workshops is mandatory in order to participate.

A separate and second registration form will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the event with a pre-event survey and information about how to login to the workshops.
