Human Resources plays a key role in developing, reinforcing and changing the culture of an organization. Join us Friday, October 30th and meet Margaret Gallant with the "Momentum HR Program" centred in the Montague Rural Action Centre/CBDC.
Margaret will talk about the role HR management plays in an organization and why essential and practical HR advice is important for business success. Come learn about best practices for HR and resources available for support throughout PEI and bring your questions! Margaret Gallant has spent over the last 20 years working in Human Resources. A planner, creator, and problem solver, she has worked in many private and public sectors, including health, transportation, bioscience, and IT. Margaret's experience as an entrepreneur began with her business Fresh Image 360, which she successfully ran for many years. Whether it is business coaching or HR consults, Margaret delivers person-centred HR. See the person first, then see the job, business, challenge, etc. NOTE: This session will be offered both virtually AND in-person at PEIBWA's Rural Women's Business Centre in Central Bedeque. Pre-registration is required (limited spots available for in-person attendance to comply with social distancing protocols).
Conversation Corner began as a small gathering around the kitchen table in the Rural Women's Business Centre in Central Bedeque in November 2019, and continues to be offered both in-person and virtually from the Centre.
