Take your photography to the next level with help from award-winning Island photographer Brady McCloskey!

In this workshop, you will learn how to use your DSLR camera to take striking images. Using the basic principles of photography, Brady will walk you through creating photo concepts, editing the photos, how-to best present them online and more. 

After completing this workshop, you will be able to take pictures that will seriously WOW others!

There's no denying the power of a picture. So whether you want to improve your marketing skills or your photography skills, this two-hour workshop will benefit you. 

**PLEASE NOTE: Participants would be required to have a DSLR camera available to bring along**

Topics covered in this workshop include: 

MANUAL PHOTOGRAPHY FUNDAMENTALS

  • Understanding the fundamental 3 main settings of Manual photography - ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture

  • Window light, indoor light, outdoor light

  • Best practices, things to avoid

  • White balance, coloring

HANDS ON PHOTOGRAPHY WITH PROP SETUPS

  • Small stations for attendees to get out of their seats and photograph.

  • Participants can take photos themselves, ask questions and get feedback

  • Participants will be distanced from one another

DEMOS & REAL WORLD EXAMPLES

  • Examples of photos and how they were taken

  • Real examples of before and afters, showing how to improve a photo

  • Demonstrating how to post without compromising clarity/resolution

EDITING & POST PRODUCTION

  • Photo editing to explain Lightroom, a photo editing software to improve and enhance photography overall
