Are you looking to sell your goods or services to the Government of Canada? The Prince Edward Island Business Women’s Association (PEIBWA), is collaborating with Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) to offer an online three-part workshop this November.

This workshop series is right for you if:

  • You are interested in doing business with the Government of Canada
  • You want to learn more about finding the right opportunities and building networks
  • You need assistance with registering as a supplier and using the Government of Canada’s online tools

The Government of Canada is one of the largest buyers of goods and services in Canada, spending approximately $24 billion annually on goods, services, construction, and maintenance projects. It buys just about every kind of good and service. Goods can range from food and beverage items to custom manufactured products, and services can range from catering to professional and technical services like training, human resources, education, IT, engineering or environmental services, to real property services like grounds maintenance or janitorial services.

This workshop series is geared towards women entrepreneurs looking to grow their business and expand their reach into public sector procurement.

Workshops will be offered virtually at 2:00 to 4:00 pm and will include:

November 16: Doing Business with the Government of Canada

Workshop: Registering in SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on tender opportunities

November 23: Finding Opportunities with the Government of Canada

Workshop: Navigating CanadaBuys, the Government Electronic Directory Service and other

search tools

November 30: Supplying Professional Services to the Government of Canada (with a focus on

ProServices)

Workshop: Navigating ProServices and registering in the Centralized Professional

Services System ePortal (CPSS ePortal)

Our resident experts from PAC will provide guidance, information, and best practices for finding opportunities on CanadaBuys, the Government of Canada’s new procurement platform. You will also get personalized support and assistance with registering in SAP Ariba, receive guidance on relationship building, and get tips and suggestions on researching Government of Canada databases. Businesses who sell professional services will be assisted with registration for the Centralized Professional Services System (CPSS) ePortal.

At the end of this three-part workshop, you will also receive one-on-one support to help you with next steps and get advice on how to set you up for success.

Don’t miss this opportunity and register today to share your knowledge and learn from fellow entrepreneurs, business professionals, and PAC’s resident expert!

*Please note that participants can choose to attend any or all of the learning series sessions*
