In 2015, BGen Robidoux was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women of the Year by the Women’s Executive Network. That same year, she became the first female commander of the 35 Canadian Brigade Group and the first woman to command a brigade group in Québec. She has served in the Canadian Armed Forces for almost 34 years, including a deployment in Afghanistan where she was a senior advisor to the Afghan National Army Chief of Training and Force Structure and Chief of Advisors. She is currently the Director of General Reserves and Employer Support.
BGen Robidoux will speak about her career, leadership and how to lead people. There will be time for your questions, as well.

UPEI Executive Master of Business Administration Program will be hosting a Get Connected Business Mixer immediately following the AGM McDougall Hall's Schurman Market Square. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar. The mixer will follow the AGM at 4:30 pm.

This workshop is led by Margaret Magner, Executive Director of the PEI Business Women’s Association. She has taught in Canadian and U.S. universities and held a number of positions, including Director of Development for the William J. Clinton Foundation; Presidential Speechwriter, Development Communications Senior Writer, and Corporate Relations Director at the University of Southern California; and Director of Bioscience Development at UPEI, where she continues to teach for the Faculty of Business and Department of English. Her company Magner Ink specializes in communication services. She is a Governor of the National Theatre School of Canada.
Stacey Evans of MRSB Consulting Services – self-professed lover of all things organized, efficient, upbeat and fun – has over fifteen years’ experience working as a consultant on PEI and on national projects across Canada. Over these years she has developed and adopted a variety of strategies and tools to foster professional momentum as well as to energize herself and her team. During this engaging and sometimes entertaining two-hour session, Stacey will share customizable strategies and tools, and will encourage participants to embrace opportunities for their own professional ‘tune up’—and work towards increased professional satisfaction and success.
