Registration Options

PEIBWA is excited to offer multiple registration options with special discounted pricing for our members! Members can enjoy an exclusive rate of $125 for the Full Symposium Pass, which includes access to the full day Symposium and the Symposium Kickoff on September 26. For non-members, the Full Symposium Pass is available at $175. For those interested in attending only on the day of the Symposium, we offer a Symposium Only registration at $100 for members and $150 for non-members, granting access to a full day of sessions and events. Additionally, we have a Keynote and Lunch Pass for members at $50 and non-members at $75 and a Thursday Kickoff Reception on September 26 at a rate of $25 for PEIBWA members and non members $50.

Melody Dover
Lunch time Keynote Session: An Entrepreneur's Journey of turning Pain into Power

Melody Dover is founder and lead brand builder behind Fresh Media, a multi-award-winning creative agency specializing in unique brand positioning and original ideas.

Starting Fresh Media from her basement apartment with no start-up support, three client leads and a second-hand computer was humble beginnings for a company that is still going strong today. 

Over the past 21 years Melody and her team have proudly helped numerous startups, small businesses, organizations, not-for-profits locally, regionally and internationally. She is also one of the creators of the annual PEI Burger Love campaign which has had an unprecedented economic impact of over $14 million since launching in 2011 and raised over $440,000 for two local not-for-profits.

Whether it's speaking on starting a business, building a successful brand, or openly talking about her entrepreneurial path while struggling to start a family and most recently living with chronic path, Melody is open to sharing her journey to help inspire others.


Meaghan Blanchard
Session: "Authentically You: Befriending Anxiety and Thriving on Social Media"

Meaghan Blanchard is a two-time ECMA award-winning musician, content marketing coach and social media manager from O’Leary, PEI. 

Through her monthly coaching services, Meaghan works with business owners to uncover and nurture their unique creative spark, to help them create content and build a personal brand for their business from a place that feels deeply authentic and true. 

Her compassion based approach inspires business owners to make friends with their self-doubt and lean into their social media stage fright, so that they can start to build meaningful communities on social media that they truly LOVE to engage with.


Julie Ann Gauthier
Session: Carve the Path that Fuels You

Julie Ann Gauthier is a commercial lobster fisher & co-owner of Joey’s Deep Sea Fishing. After almost a decade of climbing the corporate ladder in Calgary she made an unexpected decision to move back home to PEI and join the family business. 

This transition has come with many ups and downs. Over the years, Julie Ann has had to overcome many limiting beliefs, implement boundaries and adapt practices to allow her to be successful in her career and her personal life. 

She enjoys sharing her story with others to empower and inspire other women to take a chance on themselves and follow a path they didn’t expect to.



Alice Curitz
Session: Authentic and Unwavering: Centering your values and creating aligned and meaningful businesses with thriving teams on your own terms

Alice Curitz (she/her) is the founder of Our Landing Place, an online queer-centred therapy clinic providing affirming and competent mental health care to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community across the parts of Turtle Island referred to as Canada. Her clinic has won numerous business and community awards, and earlier this year she won the Atlantic Business Award for Top Women in Business. Alice coaches business owners to support them in creating and sustaining meaningful and values-led businesses through an intersectional, anti-oppressive, anti-racist and feminist lens. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and Certified Sex Therapist completing her PhD research on issues in 2SLGBTQIA+ mental health.

She specializes in queer sex and relationship counselling, and provides training and clinical consultation services to mental health clinicians, as well as consulting with the government and other organizations to ensure their services are meeting the needs of their queer and trans community members. Alice lives in Pownal with her wife and their dog, Simon.

In her spare time you’ll find her reading (typically psychology and social justice books but the occasional fiction work sometimes makes its way through!), gardening, going for walks, and playing the flute in the Holland College Welshmen Community Band.

Steff Sullivan
Session: Discover Your Unique Business Essence 

Steff Sullivan (she/her), founder of Steff Sullivan Collective, blends a decade of experience as a women's health nurse, various movement certifications and her own spiritual curiosity into a deep rooted passion for self-care and mental wellbeing. She is trained in Human Design, and uses it to support humans in understanding their unique energy blueprint and how to care for themselves in a holistic and sustainable way. Steff strongly values community and enjoys creating experiences that bring humans together to share, support & connect to each other. Through her brand, she offers movement classes, self-care workshops, one-on-one services, group programs and wellness retreats - both virtually and locally on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Stephanie Andrews
Session: Women & Wealth: Opportunities for Women in Business

Stephanie Andrews has been with IG Wealth Management for over a decade, initially serving business owners and professionals on Prince Edward Island. Today, she focuses on helping ambitious women and their families grow their wealth.

As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Stephanie is dedicated to guiding clients through a clear, step-by-step system to achieve their financial goals. The CFP® designation, the gold standard in the industry, reflects her commitment to providing top-tier financial planning.

With a selective client base of around 150 households, Stephanie takes on 6-8 new clients annually, ensuring personalized attention and a strong focus on helping clients create the life they envision.


Wendy MacIntyre
Session: Giving and Receiving Feedback

Wendy MacIntyre is an experienced HR consultant with over 20 years in the field. Since founding resolveHR, a certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise, in 2015, she has provided tailored HR solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across industries such as tech, healthcare, and B2B/B2C service. A certified CPHR, she also offers leadership coaching and training in tools like Insights Discovery®, EQi 2.0®, and PXT®. Known for tackling complex HR challenges, Wendy delivers impactful advice and workshops throughout Atlantic Canada, helping businesses and nonprofits thrive.

Nicole MacRae
Session: Overcoming Scarcity Mindset

Nicole is an Entrepreneur and Clinical Therapist. She is the owner of Oak and Cedar Counselling Services. As a practitioner for over 15 years, Nicole is highly skilled and educated in a wide variety of areas. This includes being Certified in EMDR and is one of a handful of Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapists in Atlantic Canada. Her specializations include Trauma, Reproductive Counselling/Infertility, Grief/Loss, Perinatal Mental Health, Anxiety as well as Menopausal Mental Health Stress, and Burnout. Her practice is located in PEI, but also supports clients in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. 

In addition to counselling, Nicole is an active mentor and supporter for other therapists growing their businesses. As a business owner, she has faced many hurdles and challenges, in particular the discovery of how her own fears and insecurities can impact her business. With a self-compassionate lens, she has navigated her own scarcity mindset and works collaboratively with others to do the same. She looks forward to sharing her insights into what scarcity mindset is, what triggers it, its impact if not acknowledged and compassionate strategies to help overcome it.
